Providers are encouraged to exercise their Right to Disclosure on every "home visit" conducted by DEL and/or DLR/CPS at the time of the "visit". APRE suggests that Providers request their full file and make subsequent "dated" requests on a quarterly basis. The Department can charge a fee of 15 cents per page for copies. If you have been licensed for a period of years prior to your first disclosure request you can reduce the fee charged by specifying that you do not want copies of "home studies" or renewal notices, however, APRE recommends obtaining "everything" the first disclosure.
